Why isn't my file loading?
ProfessorDragon

So I want to know why this file isn't loading. I've tried restarting the page, etc. but the data.txt file refuses to load.
You can see a screenshot of it below - it has just been "saving" for ages now.
It is very annoying because the data.txt file is vital to my project.

Uh it doesn't load for me either... I'd submit a crash report and check the txt file. There's probably a good reason why it isn't loading - it could be potentially too large or corrupted. Anyways idk how to screw around with repl so file a bug/crash report while you wait I guess.

ProfessorDragon

@AdCharity Do you know what the maximum file size is?

AdCharity

@ProfessorDragon The thing is i don't think there is a maximum size in terms of saving stuff, although I do know copy and pasting something like unminified JQuery or Brain.js will crash the entire repl for a while

ProfessorDragon

@AdCharity Hm. Also, what did you mean by 'check the txt file' in your first response?

AdCharity

@ProfessorDragon like idk make sure its actually a txt file... worse case open it up on your pc and then copy and paste its contents

ProfessorDragon

@AdCharity Well, it does say it's a .txt file so it should work... And how do I open it on my computer?

AdCharity

@ProfessorDragon ? click on it?

AdCharity

@ProfessorDragon What kind of computer are you using? You should be able to click on it and open it with any text editor (notepad, even a browser)

ProfessorDragon

@AdCharity If I click on the data.txt file, it crashes!

AdCharity

@ProfessorDragon ok... so uh go to your file manager on your computer (not repl) and click on it.

ProfessorDragon

@AdCharity Oh so you're saying I download it as a zip and then open it. Gotcha.

AdCharity

@ProfessorDragon well yeah and if you can't open it then on repl delete it and make a new one... that's a pretty extensive bot you're making there.

ProfessorDragon

@AdCharity Yeah... I'll do that.

ProfessorDragon

@AdCharity That works! Thanks for the help.
