Why is it doing this when I enter the which period I want to go to??

in that if/else statement, else means if grades aren't 50. Also, you can't have more than one variable being "measured" in an if/else statement. Here's what I think your trying to do

if grades <= 50:
  print("You failed")

if health == 0:
  print("How do you die in high school")

@MaciahLawson you still need to set a starting health or it generates errors jock is only thing that works
