Not all programs have to have a use. Sometimes you make a program to learn

Mmmm, the file writes itself to another file, but it isn't technically a Quine because it should:

Not take advantage of file operations
Write itself to the screen

How would it duplicate its self, if it only outputs its self

It duplicates itself to the output.
