Hi! Cycles are the point system of For example, I have about 240 cycles right now. They're earned when people upvote your posts or if one of your answers to a question (on replit ask) has been marked as the "correct" answer).

Cycles are also known as upvotes. You can see the number of cycles you have after your username in PARENTHESES. They don't serve any real purpose, but if you have a lot then it means you have been helpful to people on repl and/or have shared a cool project that people have upvoted.
You get 5 cycles if someone marks your answer as correct.

eankeen (2173)

@ArchieMaclean Woah! That's interesting. They show up after my username inside enclosed parenthesis! ;) :sticking_out_tongue:

PYer (4012)

Cycles are points in The more cycles you have, the higher on the leader board you get. You get them when you make something and people upvote it or if someone upvotes your comment.

jeanenchanted (21)

@bonnym512 wait there's a leaderboard?

jackinthenet (2)

  • Users earn "cycles" which in the future they can cash in compute resources on @Replit

basically they're rep you can (eventually) spend on Repl!

Steven_The_GuyT (329)

Cycles are earned when someone upvotes your post. You can also earn 5 upvotes at once when you answer a Repl question, and the question asker marks your answer as correct.
