Weird Beeping noise

When I'm going around Replit, I can hear weird static beeping noises. I know that this is coming from Replit because of the audio marker on my tab.

Has anyone else experience it, or know what it is?

Yes, if you press Backspace while on the Python console (or maybe other ones too), it makes that sound. If the repl is multiplayer, then it can be someone else doing it.

@CodingElf66 No, I'm not in the repl. I was actually on the ReplTalk pages

CodingElf66

@DillonB07 No, it can happen even if you press backspace on a tab (if you are still on the repl console on another one, it'll occur)

DillonB07

@CodingElf66 I didn't have any other replit windows open, and it wasn't that noise. It was more of a static noise that you would get with really old tv's and things like that.

@DillonB07 Hmmm...

ruiwenge2

yes i have, it happens if you press the backspace button in the console

DillonB07

@ruiwenge2 No, I'm not in a repl. I was actually on the ReplTalk pages navigating around.

@DillonB07 ok then i have no idea

that's when you press like the backspace button or whatever, try doing this: print('\b') nice beeping sound!

No, I'm not in the repl. I was actually on the ReplTalk [email protected]

oh that's just your computer @DillonB07

DillonB07

@Coder100 That doesn't make sense. If you use Google Chrome, you know that there's an audio marker on tabs that are playing audio.

But as it hasn't happened today, only yesterday, I'm going to put it down as something weird that's sorted now.

Coder100

i said your computer not your browser

but yeah see could be just a hardware thing @DillonB07

ch1ck3n

i never experienced it but maybe it's a repl making that sound

@ch1ck3n No, I'm not in a repl. I was actually on the ReplTalk pages
