Currently, I am thinking about whether to use Vscode or Pycharm with the Python IDE.
What should I use?
(Currently, I am a beginner-intermediate Python.)

Vscode, there is no competition, it’s just plainly better.

@Sam0707computer Depends on you. If you want to use Python solely then Pycharm. Else use VSCode. Or pick something else.

@xfinnbar Thank you
But I did that too
I only wanted to be auto-complete, so I set the language server to none, and it turned out like this

Somebody help me! :)

@Sam0707computer Seriously? You don't know that the language server is clearly the only way that you have auto-complete?

Language servers are the way autocomplete creates linking, so turn language servers on again @Sam0707computer

@Imj0707 Install the "Pylance" extension and install the "VSCode IntelliSense" extension

@Coder100 Language servers would work using extensions. Install "VSCode IntelliSense", the extension.

haha that's not an extension, do you mean the python extension @heewoonkim2020

@Coder100 no the intellisense extension: The extension should be in the marketplace, it is there for me. If I disable it I don't get suggestions even with the Python extension.

@Coder100 I mean the Pylance and IntelliSense one.
