Unhappy with Repl.it and NLTK Python

I'm extremely unhappy right now with NLTK and Python. I am trying to follow along with the NLTK with Python book, except every time I restart/change my browser I have to redownload all the packages in the linux console.
It's like every time I have to type in:
nltk.download()

Not only that but the console is extremely laggy and I think the developers need to work on making it a little bit better. It has froze a bunch on me!

I am having the same issue, even though I put nltk.download('stopwords') in the script, the code doesn't attempt to download on its own. I have to manually go and add using shell script. This is painful
