I'd like to turn-off the 'Start thread' pop-up that appears when you highlight text in any repl.

It covers anything I try to select!

I feel like it's not even a feature most people would use constantly!

Thank you.

In my personal experience, it's so small I forget it's there half the time. What resolution is your monitor at? I have a feeling that might be messing with the scaling somehow.

@SixBeeps Hi there thanks for writing back - well it's 1080p - I am guessing it's the most common form; If you try to select some text it pops up making it impossible to see what you are selecting. I don't remember seeing this before and feel like it's unncessary (surely for most people?).

@zaniah 1080p is common, so that's not the issue. Could you send a screenshot of the button? It should be about the height of a line, maybe a little less.

@SixBeeps Ah so it pops up above the selected text on my 1080p monitor at home on Chrome Windows10 or Debian 11 but at my work on a 1080p (Chromebox OS) (it was covering any text I selected!) so I guess for me it is solved because I don't use repl.it much at work anyway, but I suppose it could be an issue for others.

@zaniah Oh yeah if it's displaying on top of the text you selected, then that's an issue. Might want to submit a ticket if you can.

@SixBeeps Thanks! It's not really a problem on this computer. For me personally it's a mild annoyance but I'll live!

@zaniah So it is working on my work computer and hovering above the selection. Either it has just been fixed or that session I was in had some anomaly! So solved and thanks for your input @sixBeeps.
