Repl Desktop App off Chrome
CodeMaster007 (123)

So when I go on Repl off Chrome (Windows 10), on the top right corner, there is a button as to install something. In the install panel, it states if you were to wish to install a app labeled, "Replit" and underneath, there is a small caption saying, "". My question is, "Does the app on Chrome install the official repl app or a fan made one? If this is a fan made app, would it be safe to install and use?" Thanks in advance,

Ok, yeah. That’s what I thought but I wasn’t sure. @ch1ck3n

I don't use it myself, but I'm 99% sure it's the official Replit app... It could be made by fans, but if it's on the Replit page, that means it has been approved by the Replit team...

At least I think so... I mean otherwise why would it be there 🤔.

@QuickV wrong

it is PWA means that you can install the site that has the same functionality as a naitive windows app

it is not an app

Lol I didn't know if I was right or wrong, I haven't downloaded anything on this computer :P...

Also the reason I thought it was an app, is because it states: "Install App?" when you click the button.

@ch1ck3n Bruh the A in PWA literally stands for app.
