Quick Question About Assembly
Say that I was to write a program in 6502 assembly for simplicity and it would look something like this:
Now this is a dirt simple program that adds two memory addresses together and stores the result in third address. Long story short, my question is, does each instruction in a given assembly language correspond directly with an op-code for the processor? For example would
LDA $200 be the direct human readable version of an op-code or is there some layer of abstraction that I’m missing?
@CSharpIsGud hate to bother you but maybe you have some insight on this.
