Python: Stuck in read-only editor
blanton1 (3)

I seem to have somehow put the editor for my Python 3 REPL into read-only mode, as I am now greeted by the message "Cannot edit in read-only mode" when trying to do anything. I'm guessing there's a simple way to change it back, but I can't seem to find it. Any ideas?

@blanton1 can you try again and see if it's fixed? We rolled out a temporary fix for this while we investigate further.

@timmy_i_chen Thanks for the quick response! Unfortunately, it's still stuck in read-only mode (and I did not opt into the Explorer program)

@blanton1 Can you give me a link to the repl where you are seeing this?

@blanton1 Sorry about this - we're pushing out a hotfix now. Will update you as soon as its live.

@blanton1 Should be fixed now, can you verify?

@timmy_i_chen Yep, works fine now -- thanks for the help!

Did you opt into the explorer program by any chance? This may have been done under your account settings, which enables beta features for testing, and may have unintended consequences.

Let us know if you didn't opt into the Explorer role; that would mean that we're messing something up bad.
