Password "Problem"
QuickV

DISCLAMER: Not a serious problem, but probably something worth mentioning.

I'm trying to change my password...

But it says:

...

The funny part is...

My old password doesn't contain a capital letter at all... But I can still log in with it (which is good)...

BUT...

I don't want to include a capital letter in my new password, but it seems that's not possible...

Anyone know why this happened? The 8 character limit should be enough "rules" for a password

ch1ck3n

@QuickV why not? it will be more secure

QuickV

yeah, but being slightly better won't really make a difference anyways, and I can remember it better without it having a capital letter in it. @ch1ck3n

An 8 character password could be as simple as “12345678” which means that it’d be dead simple to bruteforce it, while adding more variety to passwords makes it more secure for everyone. If you have trouble remembering your password, you can use a password manager such as LastPass or Bitwarden that will help you auto fill even a very complex password

true :D

If you have trouble remembering your password

I don't lol, and my password is pretty much uncrackable :P

@RoBlockHead

Note:

Passwords can still be amazingly strong, even without a capital letter.
