I did the command: npm i -g express-generator but I got the error:

npm ERR! Error: EACCES: permission denied, access '/usr/local/lib/node_modules'
npm ERR! [Error: EACCES: permission denied, access '/usr/local/lib/node_modules'] {

but if I try without the -g then I get THIS error: express: command not found.

Can someone help me?

-g means global, and what that does essentially is it will attempt to install express-generator on the entire Replit. Now Replit doesn't want you to do that, so they give you "Permission denied". To fix this, simply get rid of -g, and it will install in that specific repl.
