Save changes to forked repl

I want to teach some kids how to code and I embedded a repl in a wordpress website (I'm using LearnDash). After the user fork it and make changes to it, if he refresh the page the code reverts back to the original and has to make all the changes again.
Is there something I can do about it?
Also, is it possible to display the embedded repl windows (editor and preview) side by side instead of one on top of the other?

No. A fork is a copy of the repl, so any changes won't reflect to the embedded repl. You can invite the user through multiplayer to have the changes save without forks having to be made.
