Machine Limit

Hey all,
I'm a very amateur coder working on my first 300 + lines of code project. Does this site have a point where the machine begins to struggle to process the code, e.g a number of code lines? I don't expect to hit it, but it would be nice to know.
Thanks

There is basically no limit. I do not know for sure, but there is no way you should worry about that

It is unlimited. Even though it says a certain amount of storage on each plan if you go over the storage nothing will happen so it is basically unlimited.

On free plan you get 500mb of memory (not storage) and 0.2-0.5vCPU's (1 cpu core ≈ 1vCPU)
So no exact amount it depends on what the repl does (it can go really big projects)

I have around 2k and have encountered no problems

Lucky you, I have only 150 lines and the project just gets stuck on “failed to connect, retrying”

Ok, thanks all!

No, I have previously made a project which has a file with 1000000 lines of random words and everything went smoothly

Aside from the storage limit being a thing, I haven't seen a particular relationship between the size of a project and its compile/run time. Especially because you use Python, which is an interpreted language, you're not going to see it anytime soon.
GJ on your first 300+ line project btw!

on your current plan (free, also mine), it is 500mb. but it is flexible because of the CPU. I'm pretty sure I've gone over mine with my 237mb project but anyway.
