Is Repl.it under DDoS attack?
Is it? Repl.it’s being super slow, and when I reloaded I got the Cloudflare DDoS redirect page
Not necessarily. From what I can assume, Repl.it probably got a lot of traffic from 1 ip address. Remember, most public Ip's are shared (if multiple people use the same network), so it may just be a school or something using repl.it a lot. Of course, this is not as likely as a DDoS attack, as it would take a lot of people using repl.it to trigger it's defence mode. Remember, if I had access to a terminal right now (which I don't), I could easily ping repl.it 100 times or so (probably more, if the terminal doesn't have a ping timeout) in 1 second (which I wouldn't; I love repl.it!)! Also, the slowness could be the result of a DDoS attack, or it could be that so many people are using repl.it from a single IP (again, probably DDoS, since the latter is unlikely).
@StephenBohannon Um, you responded 3 times? Did it lag? XD
(Or am I lagging)
But yes, more schools are using it (sadly, mine does not offer cs classes beyond scratch level), as well as other institutions. This is evident through the numerous rapid changes replit has given, likely as a result of more buying products and therefore having more money to spend, as well as increased motivation for updating the platform.
