How to include a tag inside of an attribute in HTML
Dunce (45)

Hello, I just learned about meta tags in HTML, and I would like to specifie that I'm the author of a webpage, with a link to my Replit profile page.
But I believe that would require me to include a tag inside of an attribute, and I don't know how to do that, or if it's even possible.

Meta tags do nothing but hold text. It does not hold any HTML data. You can put the link to your Replit account in there if you'd like, but the whole point of Meta information is to make it easier to find your webpage.

@SixBeeps Okay, so you're saying no one would actually see that I'm the author? It's just for the search engine?

You could also use a footer on your page that contains a copyright notice and a link to your repls.
