How to add Footer using css

I want to create something like this -

Just add a div and place the social media images (which I assume are links) inside the div (or outside and then place them on top of the div)... It's not exactly that hard lol... If you want I can make a quick example.

Technically, CSS is only for styling, which means you can't use it to build a footer, but with the help of HTML, you can.

@Aphmeta I know that it's not possible only with css. But it would be great if you can share the code.
