How do you create lag in your browser by creating a repl?

Hello everyone! I'm trying to experiment with functions to create lag in my browser but all attempts have been failures. Small tips will be apprciated!

why do you want lag?

Lag is commonly created by creating loops, and doing things repeatedly in a short amount of time. Many functions are designed to not cause lag, so setInterval drifts to prevent lag.
