yes. If you run out of memory then it does reach a limit. This is around 100k requests if I recall correctly. Maybe even more, but they are definitely limits you should not be reaching normally.

i go more for the "ran out of memory" problem, thank you!

xxpertHacker no, beacause i was running the code, and in the console it said: Running at port... and the discord bot was logging "429 hit on route /gateway/bot"

lilpeen

@JDEliot The error 429 means you have sent too many requests to a specific server and that server wants you to slow down/stop. I am not a repl expert, but discord may be the one with the request limit in this case, and it is the one sending 429.

if this happened, it's probably because your repl ran out of memory, but i guess you can refresh. and startover.

Are you sure that's why it ended?

More likely, the Repl died after a timeout.

People regularly setup an HTTP server, and ping it from itself to keep a Repl alive.

Hacker plan will provide "always on Repl" eventually, which would allow you to keep the Repl alive until Repl itself goes down.

i restarted a lot of times the code and still the same, now its up again and i didnt even touched the code, thats why i thought i ran out of requests per hour

If you see:

  • hmm make sure you have HTTP port
    • your repl ran out of memory so run it again
  • run the repl to see the output
    • that repl does not exist -- you made an oopsie
JDEliot

no, i turned on and it wasnt responding my requests with that sign "We couldnt reach your replit"

DynamicSquid

Did you close the repl and then it stopped working?
