I am a beginner for Pyton. I am in a college class and my plan is to try and write a script for the pc version of Scarface. If anyone here has played the pc version you would know that you have to use a third party program to get it to work plus you have to put in patches for the game to save properly. I would like to try to fix the graphics and the save game issue if I can learn Python. I have Pyton on my pc and the Pygame but if I were to integrate the Pygame with Python I can't use Python by itself.

it depends on what the game is for example minecraft is written in JS other games are written in other languages like C++, NodeJS or there might be html based games

The Go-to for making games is C++. I'm sure some games have been made in pygame, but a very miniscule amount. There are also game engines that handle mostly C#. I don't know much about games though so take this with a grain of salt.
