Color Scheme, text colors?

I have been trying to add a modern color scheme, but i don't know what to do with the text? Should I use the navbar color. PLEASE HELP

Including a link to your repl would be good. As a general rule, for readability, text colours need to contrast well with the backgrounds they are on. Check these pages out.

I would recommend you using any online color picker that can create all color schemes for you. To find out what colors look good together, you have to first understand the color harmonies, and various color schemes. Here is a nice Online Color Picker that generates all color harmonies for you for any selected color.
It even provides a nice tutorial about all the color schemes and harmonies.
