Can you code games with C# on
Ohayou (2)

I don't mean console games, I mean can you code an actual 2D or 3D game in C#? Even if there is no game engine

No, not on Repl. The graphics in c# on repl do not work very well. However, you can create games in a game engine called unity and then upload them to replit. But that isn't really making it on repl it since you are doing that actual coding on a game engine.

@InvisibleOne yeah ok, I use Godot with C# but I wanted to try C# game development on repl.

InvisibleOne (2931)

If your computer can run unity you should look into it. Sadly mine can't so I can't use it but it's a really cool game engine. @Ohayou

Yes. C# uses Unity. That's a game engine. You can cool 3D games with it. I think on too.

InvisibleOne (2931)

Unity is not on replit, it's a game engine and a lot different from Replit. You can upload your unity game with an HTML code it gives you @RYANTADIPARTHI

what type of question is that?

Go make a terminal game lol

but no, technically in ambient contexts it isn't super simple nor practical to make games in C#. Use a game engine like unity

Ohayou (2)

@Coder100 I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU REPLIED OMG, I use godot

GDDuck15 (22)

maybe you can but you can't make them as good

6JAppleby (15)

Yeah, definitely. They might not be powerful, or fast as the games you might know, but browser games certainly.

HarperframeInc (456)

Yes! But the engine your looking for may not work on (The graphics system is very odd to some engines and may need configuration.)

Ohayou (2)

@HarperframeInc Could add a game engine for C#, that would be cool!

HarperframeInc (456)

@Ohayou Yes. Maybe you might want to try upvoting this language request (Unity Game Engine)

CSharpIsGud (997)

@HarperframeInc You can make unity games on repl by just compiling them to webgl
