Next time you copy something, make sure you understand how it works. You can change up the code to make it fit in then

SnackyCoding

@MrVoo I do understand it, it just doesn’t work

MrVoo

@SnackyCoding What part doesn't work?

SnackyCoding

@MrVoo The styles for the clicked function

SnackyCoding

@MrVoo The styling when I click the bars

MrVoo

@SnackyCoding You mean hover? It worked for me.

SnackyCoding

@MrVoo no when i click it the other navlinks have no styles

MrVoo

@SnackyCoding I don't know what you mean, and you deleted all the code. Can you redo it so I can see?

SnackyCoding

@MrVoo sure I’ll put it on my testing navbar repl

MrVoo

@SnackyCoding Can you send the link to that?

SnackyCoding

@MrVoo sure

Hey, I recommend you really learn some HTML and CSS (and even JavaScript) before you attempt this. While it is very easy to do it for seasoned web developers, it will really help you, and you can actually understand the code. By then you will easily be able to make a navbar.

SnackyCoding

@codingjlu Read the rest please. And I know HTML and CSS.

codingjlu

@SnackyCoding you don't have a CSS file :/ You need CSS to make a navbar ya know? You probably deleted it.

SnackyCoding

@codingjlu I did so I don’t have to keep on holding delete

SnackyCoding

@codingjlu I don’t want to keep on holding the delete button to delete the css and js

xfinnbar

xfinnbar

@SnackyCoding it is working tho

xfinnbar

@SnackyCoding wait never mind, you need to include the script tag. Add <script src="/index.js" defer /> to the head.

SnackyCoding

@xfinnbar I did that.

SnackyCoding

@xfinnbar It’s working, but when i click the bars the other navlinks aren’t styled

ruiwenge2
