C++ or C#
In your eyes which is better c# or c++
I don't know C# yet, so I may be a little bias, but...
If you're talking about purely coding, then C++ is my favourite language ever. #C++Gang
However, if you're talking about game design, C# is better since you can use it with Unity, and it's way easier than C++ with Unreal.
@08KINPLIX I think the two biggest ones are definitely Unreal and Unity. Godot may have some advantages over Unreal and Unity, but not enough.
And out of the two - Unreal and Unity, I find that Unreal is better for making large realistic scenery, or some type of fps game, while Unity is better for making 2d type games.
It depends on what you are using it for. In game development, C# since it can be used with Unity. In web development, also C# for ASP.NET. In robotics, C++ due to its usage in microcontroller languages such as Arduino and Energia which are really just modified C++. In programming language development and application development, C++ for multi-platform support (C# only works on Windows in native applications).
In my eyes no programming lang can be better than another. The thing about trying to compare programming languages is that they are generally made for a specific functionality, making them really good in that area, whereas the lang your comparing it too is built for some other functionality, making them both fail terribly against each-other’s strong points. Now if you asked which language I prefer, I would say c++, because I don’t really know C# and C++ is my first and favorite language.
