Accidentally deleted a project
I created a bot folder within a python one, so it'd be Python/Bots, but another Bots folder was created within the original for some reason. I deleted the second one (Python/Bots/Bots) which removed both "Bots" folders, along with a big project I was working on.
Can the project be restored?
Used to be at https://repl.it/@SacredPixel/PixelBot
Restored after you asked on the discord, closing this now
go in your CLUI, click restore and enter the name of the repl
If you delete a piece of code, need not worry: repl.it keeps a revision history that is extremely exact and exhaustive from my point of view. All you need to do to restore some stuff is click on the 'saved' button in the top left next to - and I think it’s also a bit under - the share button. Once there you can expand the day when you made the accidental revision and find the exact moment that the stuff was deleted. Deleted things are displayed in red and added thing are displayed in green.
Yes. One sec I’ll show you.
Oh wait, you meant a full repl? Sorry I don’t think that can be done. You can always try to contact the repl.it team, but it kinda seems like the normal email channels just don’t get monitored a lot or something??... maybe try the repl.it discord too.
@Highwayman Yeah I deleted a full repl (big oof), thanks though. I found this post that @katyadee responded to and recovered the repl: https://repl.it/talk/ask/Accidentally-deleted-an-IMPORTANT-repl/14202
@SacredPixel nice! That’s clever actually. I like that.
@Highwayman oh wait no sorry I thought you meant something else nvm lol.
@Highwayman can you give the link for their discord? I can't seem to find it
