Weekly Challenge #15
Hey there replers! 2 weeks ago, we started the 4th batch of repl.it weekly challenges you all are doing pretty good, there was only 1 submission this week that received a score of 0
! (i.e. that got disqualified even though the challenge was pretty easy anyways.)
So below are the results for the last weekly challenge aka Weekly Challenge #14.
WEEKLY 14 Results
Here are the results for the weekly challenge #14.
RANK 1 :
@minx28RANK 2 :
@lilykhanRANK 3 :
@JDOG787 and @Coder100In case you did not make into the top 3, you can check out your score at the weekly results website - https://weekly.thedrone7.repl.co
But before that, here's this week's weekly challenge for you all!
EULER's Number!
For those of you who don't know, Euler's number is a heavily used constant (usually denoted by e
) that is heavily used in mathematics. It's approximate value is 2.71828
but it is an irrational number.
For this week's challenge, you have to write a program/website/GUI to show how it's value is obtained or show how it's value can be applied to solve problems.
NOTE : It should be able to explain the process and not just show the process for both the derivation and the application.
You can choose to show either derivation or application. You can also choose to explain both of those.
The challenge will be over exactly a week after this post was created (on the same time).
SUBMISSION
For submitting your repls, post them on the repl talk share board and ensure that they contain #WEEKLY
in their name.
NOTE : You cannot have multiple weekly challenge submissions but if you want to share multiple ways of achieving the goal, you can make regular posts that don't contain
#WEEKLY
in their name, evenWEEKLY
is fine.
And that's it for today, code away and have fun replers!
Huh we can use imports, cant we? (For the last challenge)
How will you be ranked?
The rankings are from the total score of the weekly challenges conducted that month.
i added #Weekly in the post and not the title (╥﹏╥)
Boy,
@minx28's gonna love this challenge@Lord_Poseidon yup. Even more interesting because I know very little about e. The conversion calculator was a fun project but not very difficult.
How was the calc. not difficult.
@minx28oh ok
@minx28nice
wut
im so doomed for this weeks challenge
ikr, he is literally the big maths genius here
ikr, all their gonna do is add some text a body tag and boom lol
ok so basically e
is the limit as (1+1/x)^x
approaches infinity
hopefully, you guys are doomed no more :D
@CodingCactusyes @Lord_Poseidon

@TheDrone7yey
@TheDrone7im just salty i didnt make it in top 3 this week lol, so yeah....also, before tho, i have submit repls, but i dont get why they were never scored...do you comment on challenges that get disqualified?
lol what
@RohilPatelFor now, you only didn't make it in the top 3 by the score of 1, and that's only because the ones that did make it, go overboard.
yeah, i am happy with what i have, but ok, that is good to know that you are seeing them.
