It looks like you're trying to use the replit DB to store data from multiple users running the program independently. From my limited understanding, I don't think this is a feature that the DB supports. @Coder100 can you confirm?
Coder10011 months ago
You can also do this recursively (it allows you to do delete all except x): for key in db: this is where you add the if key == ... e.g. if key == "x": continue delete db[key] `

Pickle is a module in python that can save data locally! let's start by importing this module, import pickle: then lest make a variable x = 10. Now we are going to save this data first make a save.dat file then put this in the python file, save = open('save.dat', 'wb') pickle.dump(x, save) # this will dump it into that file save.close() this will open the save.dat file in a variable! then if you go to your save.dat file you will see lots of gibberish, this is because it saves it in a speci

On line 5: replace 'result.push(num+ '^' +i)' with 'result.push(eval(num+ '**' +i));' eval() takes valid code and evaluates it. In this case, '**' is the exponent operator. When evaluated, it returns 'num' to the power of 'i'. New Code: function exp(num){ var result =[]; for (var i=0; i<=num; i++){ result.push(eval(num+ '**' +i)); } return result; } exp(3)

Before we begin, please follow conventions. This is wrong: image Classes have to be upper-cased, like this: Car toyota = new Car(...); maybe rename your classes and files to reflect this :) 1. The easiest way is to use input read this 2. Yes A method would be great, define a method on the class Car, like this: String printData() { System.out.println("its max speed is: " + getSpeed()); ... } `

Doubt that Derivative 0.0.2 has been released with logic and fixes to the RNG to make it do well with zeroes.
scofflaw3 years ago
It has trouble with zeroes. For instance d/dx 0x^5 is 0, but it seems to want 0x^4. Similarly it has trouble with x^0, though I'm not sure what answer it's looking for there. I suggest removing 0 from the pool of possible coefficients, and adding in some logic to help with x^0 cases.
