MenuOrderThis code is a simple program for a menu and ordering system for a cafe.
First, a dictionary called menu is defined to store the items and prices. Each item is assigned a code, and the code is used as the key in the dictionary.
The program has defined three functions:
display_menu() function: This function displays the menu in a formatted way, showing the item codes, names, and prices.
place_order() function: Allows the user to place an order by selecting the item codes and quantities. It prompts the user to enter the item code and quantity, checks if the code is valid, and adds the item and quantity to the order dictionary. It also calculates the total bill of the order.
display_order(order) function: This displays the order receipt, with quantities, item names, unit prices, and total amount for each item in the order dictionary.
