Some quick new features and bugfixes.

    • Matched the name of the file explorer to BestPenguin 9 (note: extended support ends on 30 September 2022!)
    • Start adding support for the Line Mode Web Browser (yess!)
    • Universal calculator is fully implemented
    • Begin starting work on using [4] to continue using the app
    • New apps have started work behind the scenes (adventure, eNote Iridium, Progra, Sentence Iridium)
    • Use AeonicHub to get support for Aeonic products Known Issues
    • Unknown escape sequence warning for Binocular's ASCII art. Does not affect anything. Notes
    • Iridium OS now takes up 670 kb of space, and requires at least 685 kb to function, contrasting from the old 630 kb requirement.

This is Aeonic Iridium 2.34's Public Beta Release, with the build number E2BD34B. Introducing the Universal Calculator. Replacing the 5 separate calculators, you get to use many more mathematical functions than 2.33, including scientific and trigonometric ones found in high school and college/university math. It also finally supports decimals, and for ALL operations! In addition, games have been added. Development of Adventure (a choose your own adventure game) has started behind-the-scenes in Aeonic's two headquarters in India and New Jersey. Also, NumGuess is a new game to guess the number. The old text editor is now an extension called the Advanced Text Editor, and you can choose the file extension. We support .txt (text), .nst (numstring), and .xml (eXtensible Markup Language) and are planning to begin work on supporting .md (markdown), .rtf (rich text format), .doc (rich text document), and .docx (Microsoft Word) in the future.

BestPenguin Disk is an easy-to-use text user interface (TUI) OS with realistic features. I'm hoping to get this combined with a barebones linux kernel sooner or later, but for now, this is all I've got. Anyway, here's a list on what you can do:

    • Create REAL text documents (and numstrings, numerical text) and view them in a real file browser
    • Calculate quick math equations for your prealgebra/algebra/geometry/calculus homework (ugh… but still)
    • Check the time, cuz why the hell not?
    • Tour the OS (ig this is a bit outdated tho…)
    • and more... (new features below!) New features in 2.33:
    • Experimental 2-user support
    • File system support
    • Ability to create files from the Text app, and numerical strings using NumString (could become a full-blown spreadsheet programme in the future)
    • Extensions- see below
    • Rickroll detector
    • Teach little kids their times tables
    • Bug fixes
      Known Issues: None

Yes, that is exactly what private repls do. However, that won't work for terminal repls. For those, a license could suffice, but generally it isn't possible.2 years ago

I would suggest adding the Env password-hiding feature to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
SixBeeps

Those wouldn't work the way you'd expect them to, since any code you write in an HTML CSS JS Repl run solely on the client side. If you want to host a website while having access to env stuff, use a Node Repl with Express or a Python Repl with Flask.2 years ago

Replit hosts projects for anyone. So, logically, there is always a chance that someone hosts some malware on replit (I host a small userscript that is an example of a keystroke logger, but it hashes the contents before being stored, and you can choose not to download it, nor do I excessively encourage anyone so it isn't technically malware). Also, your site mimics "installation" of an os, which is a bit suspicious to chrome considering that your website isn't well-known. It works fine for me, 2 years ago
