SixBeepsThat's an interesting way of encoding the image. I might steal it for a future imaging project...
Ok now the fun part:
Variables in JS by convention start with lowercase names. Therefore, your pixel art variable should be called pixelArt1.
This is just me nitpicking, but there's a bit of indentation inconsistencies throughout the JS. There's an auto-format button at the top of the editor to make sure it stays consistent.
Since draw() is called every frame, I think it'd be more efficient to move1 year ago
theangryepicbananaPython is not good for making actual games because it's slow and has poor support for async when using pygame. Overall, python/pygame is more for "toy" games than actual games2 years ago
JakmanPygame is a library based off of the python programming language. Therefore it uses the components of the language. You DO need to learn python before you learn Pygame. Also statically typed languages allow more control and are faster than python. Static languages allow a better understanding of a concept that uses oop and fp. Just try it. typing some more keywords will not hurt you.2 years ago
Coder100Edit: Thanks for removing the upvote to spread awareness :)
Anyways, peoples' explorer mode roles have been revoked. This happens annually.
Just turn it back on and everything becomes fine!

potatojsok, so first of all you are using node.js, wich is a runtime envirenment for js so.. it does not have the window object or the canvas, to do the thing you want to do in your code you need first to create an html5 project (wich is what you need to create a canvas and draw on it)
then i see in your code that you are trying to use p5.js wich is a js lib so you need to link it to your project to bee able to use it.
here is the link!
put those before your script in the index.html file :)

DynamicSquidThey're "points". If someone upvotes your post, you get one cycle. If someone marks your answer as accepted, you get 5. Right now they're useless, but I think we have some big plans for the future.2 years ago
