Hey! I love this! Really simple and amazing. I made a few quality of life tweaks, I didn't change the way the program works, just the design of it, so that it is still your program. If you want to take some inspiration from it for your program, here is the repl.3 years ago

Well despite the fact you don't seem to have the correct repl attached, I'll still answer your question myList = ['a', 'a', 'b', 'c', 'c', 'c', 'd'] specificLetter = 'c' howMany = 0 for letter in myList: if letter == specificLetter: howMany += 1 print(howMany) The `for letter in myList: just creates a loop that goes through each element in myList. So first it runs the code below it with the vale of letter` being 'a', then 'a' again, then 'b', then 'c'...3 years ago

There is a dedicated csv module at your service. I can't think of a way to print your data nicely. Perhaps something like this will do? import csv data = list() with open('computer.csv') as fo: reader = csv.reader(fo, delimiter=',', quotechar='"') for i, row in enumerate(reader): data.append(row) if i < 1: continue print("\n" + (30 * "-")) print("DATASET", i) for j, item in enumerate(row): print("\n" + data0) pr3 years ago
