Beyblade Text Adventure Game
Beyblade Text Adventure GameThis is a game where you, as a blader, take an awesome adventure through the world of Beyblades! You get to fight mad opponents and meet masters of wonder to learn cool moves and tricks. Not try 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 on for size!
Can you help me on how to save your progress on this game?
Hey guys, so I created this game called Beyblade Text Adventure. It's very long each time I start it. So I finally figured it would be frustrating for everyone to play. Is there a way to save your progress? Thank you!

@Akshaad90 There are many different ways. For your Python skill level though, I would recommend breaking the game up into a few sections (like part 1, part 2, and part 3). Copy all the code for each section into a new Python Function (called "part1" or something). Keep all the variables at the very top of the `main.py`. Then, make a text file that contains the name of the section the user is on. When it is run, send the user to the section that is named in the file. Hopefully you can understand. 10 months ago

@CosmicBear Thanks, but I don't fully get what your saying. Do you mean I have to separate it into different files that do parts of the program and combine them together? If so, I thought about it, but just decided to stick with just using the main.py for everything. I thought I needed a new file for saving the progress, so I just did that and tried some code, but it didn't work. That's why I asked for help.10 months ago
